A dream is a wish your heart makes. I dreamed a dream in time gone by. To dream the impossible dream . well anyway, you get it. Broadway loves to dream. And nobody facilitates those dreams quite like the Broadway Dreams Foundation. We welcomed the Broadway Dreams Foundation to Sessions recently to celebrate on the week of their annual NYC showcase. Join us were BDF faculty members Quentin Earl Darrington, Christopher Hanke, MiMi Scardulla, Todd Buonopane, Noah Ricketts, Galen Williams and more. Beyond that, we were thrilled to welcome international BDF students from Russia, Brazil and Sweden who brought the house all the way down. Showtunes in foreign languages! Broadway Sessions celebrates Broadway Dreams Foundation, November 16. Broadway Sessons is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, November 16th, Broadway Sessions celebrates the Broadway Dreams Foundation with performances by BDF faculty members as well as BDF students and international guests.

Broadway Dreams kicked off their #ComeTogether Summer Intensive Tour yesterday at RWS Studios in Long Island City. For one week, 100 students worked with top Broadway professionals, including Jenn Colella, Christopher J. Hanke, Erin Dilly, Telsey + Co casting directors Rachel Hoffman and Criag Burns, Alex Newell, Quentin Earl Darrington and more. Scroll down for photos!

Broadway Dreams Foundation alumni Sidney DuPont (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Rachael Washington, and current student Dylan Christopher Gibson join the previously announced cast of Broadway faculty, alumni, and students for the June 12th Concert at Green Room 42.

Broadway Dreams and writer Drew Fornarola (STRAIGHT, Claudio Quest) will team up to present an evening of songs from Fornarola's musicals at the beautiful new Green Room 42 on 42nd Street. The event will be held on June 12th at 8pm and will help kick off the Broadway Dreams New York City Musical Theatre Intensive. Tickets are $20.

Broadway Dreams has set cities and dates for their 2017 Summer Intensive Tour, #ComeTogether. Launching in Atlanta, GA on June 4, 2017, the Summer Tour will offer the international non-profit's unique brand of performing arts training in 8 U.S. cities and Toronto, Canada. In each location, Broadway Dreams will present an incredible roster of top Broadway directors, performers, and industry insiders who will offer highly personalized musical theatre training and mentoring through week-long performing arts intensive workshops for students of all ages, skill levels, and socio- economic backgrounds.

Broadway Dreams and The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts will ring in 2017 with a free performance at 4:15 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2017 on the Commonwealth Plaza Level of the Kimmel Center.

RIFF-TINA -- the Jewish-Puerto Rican pop sensation created by comedian and Broadway and TV star Leslie Kritzer, currently appearing in Something Rotten! at the St. James Theater -- is happy to drop her latest track in support of the Hillary Clinton campaign, 'Taco Truck Invasion.' The music video racked up over 38,000 views in its first day. The song will be available as a single on iTunes and other digital platforms today, October 21.

Just last night Vineyard Theatre presented its 2016 Gala honoring award-winning actress and Vineyard Board President Kathleen Chalfant and New York theatrical press agent Sam Rudy, hosted by Michael Urie and Ryan Spahn. DOT by Colman Domingo - currently starring as Strand on AMC's FEAR THE WALKING DEAD and also in The Sundance Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award winner THE BIRTH OF A NATION by Nate Parker - just opened at the Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). The play is directed by multiple Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, who returns to The Vineyard for the first time since she directed the theater's acclaimed world premiere of THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS. On February 25th, Feinstein's/54 Below will present 'In Memoriam,' a concert celebration of this season's Broadway and off-Broadway shows that have closed too soon. Original cast members from Allegiance, Amazing Grace, Gigantic, and Spring Awakening will be performing songs from their shows, and sharing some behind the scenes stories and photos.

Vineyard Theatre's 2015-2016 season began Wednesday, November 11 at 8pm when the new musical comedy GIGANTIC began previews at The Acorn Theatre @ Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street), where it plays through December 20. GIGANTIC features a book by Randy Blair (PEREZ HILTON SAVES THE UNIVERSE, SPIDERMUSICAL) and Tim Drucker (PEREZ HILTON SAVES THE UNIVERSE, SPIDERMUSICAL), music by Matthew roi Berger (SPIDERMUSICAL), lyrics by Randy Blair, choreography by Chase Brock (SPIDER-MAN TURN OFF THE DARK) and will be directed by Scott Schwartz (BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL).
