Mark Shunock loves Las Vegas and started Mondays Dark to give back to his community. While there are performances every other Monday, the public is invited to attend the 10th anniversary show at the Palms Casino Resort on Dec. 11.

Celebrating 10 amazing years of giving back and over $1.8 million raised for the Vegas community, Mondays Dark is throwing a year-end, anniversary spectacular. The popular grassroots charitable movement raises much-needed funding for Las Vegas’ local nonprofit organizations.

Marshun Entertainment is launching the Beyond the Songbook Series, on Monday, April 24, at The Space, Las Vegas, with a tribute to Henry Krieger, the composer of three Broadway musicals, Dreamgirls, The Tap Dance Kid, and Side Show.

Improvisational phenomenon and hip-hop sensation FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME will continue to delight audiences through January 29 at The Summit Showroom inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The 90-minute show amazes audiences nightly with its seamless blend of hip-hop, improvisational comedy, singing, beatboxing and more. Freestyle Love Supreme was conceived by Anthony Veneziale, and created by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party (with Billy Stritch at the piano) will make a triumphant return to Las Vegas on Friday, November 18 at 7pm. The 'extreme open mic' will take place at Myron's at The Smith Center, 361 Symphony Park Avenue, Las Vegas.

From “West Side Story” to “Company” to “Into the Woods,” Sondheim left the world a better place than he found it and for that, The Space and a variety of Las Vegas entertainers honor him and his incomparable work with The Life of Stephen Sondheim on Thursday, May 12 at 8 p.m. (doors at 7 p.m.). A full lineup of performers for this celebration to be announced at a later date.

Actor/ producer/ director/ singer/ performer Marisa Matthews will be inaugurating her monthly musical cabaret BROADWAY AT THE BOURBON ROOM February 21, 2022, at The Bourbon Room. Each cabaret (populated with Broadway’s latest talents) will have different themes, with opening night Give My Regards to Broadway. I had the chance to ask a few queries of Marisa on some of her history leading up to this show.

The talented actors of Filipino heritage who grace the stages of Broadway and the world will gather on June 11th to celebrate Philippine Independence Day in a live show and live stream event broadcasting from Las Vegas, courtesy of Broadway Barkada and The Space.

The popular Las Vegas performing arts venue has partnered up with BroadwayWorld to bring entertainment directly to guests, pay-per-view style.  The new partnership is set to bring Broadway and Live Music Lovers the very best talent without leaving the safety of home, while providing these artists with the opportunity to earn income while reaching out to their fans during these challenging times.

Donato Cabrera, Music Director of the California Symphony and Las Vegas Philharmonic, announced new events to connect with audiences and communities during the ongoing period of isolation due to the coronavirus crisis.

Charitable variety show, Mondays Dark, will partner with The Actors Fund, to raise funds for the Las Vegas entertainment community through a telethon event held from 5 - 11 p.m. PST on Monday, April 27.

According to Las Vegas Review-Journal, a telethon will be held at The Space to benefit Vegas performers out of work due to the health crisis.

In Las Vegas, entertainers support each other and the arts with their time and talent. Mondays Dark, a variety show donating 100 percent of ticket sales to a selected charity, presented Getting' Funky: A Tribute to Soul Train raising $10,000 for A Public Fit.

Charity and celebration go hand in hand at Las Vegas' philanthropic event of the year, Mondays Dark. Raise a glass and celebrate their 6th Anniversary on Monday, Dec. 9 at the Pearl Concert Theater inside Palms Casino Resort.  This anniversary event also celebrates hitting the $1 million mark of raising funds for Las Vegas' philanthropic organizations. 

Nevada Public Radio and Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas invite quiz enthusiasts for an evening of trivia, conversation and cocktails at Nevada Public Radio's Holiday Trivia Night featuring Quizmaster Mark Shunock and Quizmistress Edie Entertainer on Wednesday, Dec. 18 beginning at 6 p.m.
