Singer and burlesque performer Melody Sweets, featured as the Green Fairy in the Strip's best show ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace, takes the stage at "Mondays Dark" with Mark Shunock (ROCK OF AGES) at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Monday, Jan. 20 at 8:30 p.m. All proceeds from the night will benefit Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA).
On Wednesday (Dec. 18, 2013) the high-octane musical ROCK OF AGES celebrated its first anniversary in Las Vegas at The Venetian Las Vegas. Following the conclusion of the performance, cast member Mark Shunock ("Lonny") addressed the full house to thank them for their support of ROCK OF AGES and then he led the cast in a celebratory shot to mark the occasion. After the performance, the company hosted a '80s themed after party at Insert Coin(s) in Downtown Las Vegas.

The third Monday night of each month is about to become a hot bed of entertainment, music and comedy for a cause when Shunock launches "Mondays Dark" with special guest stars three time Emmy nominee Dot-Marie Jones from the hit series Glee, Travis Cloer of Jersey Boys and performances by the cast of "Rock of Ages," Anne Martinez and, the Opportunity Village Elvis impersonators, The OV Elvi.

Ken Davenport has announced that the Off-Broadway phenomenon The Awesome 80s Prom, now in its ninth year at the famed club Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street), will be opening at the V Theater inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas on Saturday, July 14, 2012. The Vegas edition of The Awesome 80s Prom is produced by Sirc Michaels Productions.
