New York-New York Hotel & Casino and Nine Fine Irishmen raised more than $112,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation this past Saturday, March 1, tripling last year's amount. Guests came out to show their support and cheer on fellow head-shavers in barber chairs at the property's new outdoor plaza on the Brooklyn Bridge. All of the proceeds raised benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation and will go toward childhood cancer research.

Mark Shunock, who plays Lonny the narrator in the hit musical 'Rock Of Ages,' along with various Strip entertainers wowed audiences and raised thousands of dollars during the fourth edition of 'Mondays Dark' on Monday, February 17th. This monthly charity event held at Vinyl, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's intimate music venue will donate100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the Monday's show, which featured the music of Queen, to The Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach. Singer and burlesque performer Melody Sweets, featured as the Green Fairy in the Strip's best show ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace, takes the stage at "Mondays Dark" with Mark Shunock (ROCK OF AGES) at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Monday, Jan. 20 at 8:30 p.m. All proceeds from the night will benefit Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NSPCA).

On Wednesday (Dec. 18, 2013) the high-octane musical ROCK OF AGES celebrated its first anniversary in Las Vegas at The Venetian Las Vegas. Following the conclusion of the performance, cast member Mark Shunock ("Lonny") addressed the full house to thank them for their support of ROCK OF AGES and then he led the cast in a celebratory shot to mark the occasion. After the performance, the company hosted a '80s themed after party at Insert Coin(s) in Downtown Las Vegas.

After nine years of partying like it's 1989, today, November 2, Off-Broadway's smash-hit theatrical event THE AWESOME 80s PROM will conclude its celebrated NYC run at The Wall (251 West 30th Street), due to a programming change at the venue.
