Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) announces its 2024 Main Stage Season at the Brooks Theater in downtown Oceanside. The Old Globe has announced the full cast and creative team for its 25th annual production of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Globe Resident Artist James Vásquez (Hair) directs San Diego’s yuletide favorite musical once again with Andrew Polec reprising his role as The Grinch.

This critically acclaimed musical won four Tony Awards in 2010 including Best Musical and Best Original Score, four Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Music, and four Outer Critic Circle Awards including Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Score.

ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, now playing at Moonlight Amphitheater through July 3rd is a joyful, colorful, and exuberant show with powerhouse vocals that would blow the roof of the theatre if the amphitheater had one.

First, the Moonlight celebrates the 40th anniversary of its founding in 1981 and its subsequent productions of 219 shows both at the Moonlight Amphitheatre and the AVO Playhouse. Its second milestone is its return to the stage following a near year-and-a-half nationwide shutdown of live events during the pandemic.

The curtain will finally rise on Moonlight Stage Productions' long-delayed 40th anniversary season this summer when it returns to live and in-person entertainment in June with four Broadway musicals.

Following recently provided state guidelines for outdoor live events, the Moonlight Amphitheatre is pleased to welcome back patrons with May programming featuring movie nights and concerts. Tickets to these events will go on sale on Mon., April 5 at noon.
