Today, Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas announced their full cast and creative team. The cast will include Colin Trudell as Emmet Otter, Jordan Brownlee (Puppeteer) as Tiny Squirrel/Doc Bullfrog, Kevin Covert as Mayor Fox, LaVon Fisher-Wilson as Mrs. Mink/Hetty Muskrat, and more.

Stephen DeAngelis is resuming his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with the next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE…™ to be held on Monday, September 27th  at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. 

The concert will feature Broadway/Off-Broadway stars --  Kennedy Caughell, LaVon Fisher Wilson, Brie Cassil, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, and book/music/lyrics writer, Lourds Lane, with special guest, Justin Sargent. 

The Broadway League hosted a free outdoor event centered around Black joy and unity that featured Black Broadway performers in a 90-minute concert with live music provided by The Music Performance Trust Fund.

SuperYou was previously scheduled to open off-Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre today, May 27, but plans have been postponed. The Drama League presents DirectorFest,  the only festival in the United States dedicated to the art of contemporary stage directing.  The festival series that began January 10, 2020 continues with an evening of short plays with The Lover  by Harold Pinter, directed by NJ Agwuna,  and Appearances by Tina Howe, directed by Lindsey Hope Pearlman.  

The Drama League (Artistic Director Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Director Bevin Ross) presents the 36th annual Directorfest, the only festival in the United States dedicated to the art of contemporary stage directing.
