Casting has been announced for 'Little Egg, Big World,' a first-of-its-kind play about donor conception, presented by Broadway Bound Theatre Festival.

Underground Skills Exchange presents its premier “Speak Art Series” event, this year showcasing an original, devised ensemble piece that explores what it means to call NYC home. Featuring perspectives that reflect native New Yorkers, as well as recent transplants, the objective of the performance is to help the USE audience better engage with those in their community, and to lay the foundation for a deeper connection with their neighbors and their lived experiences.

Independent theater company Match: Lit will present a queer take on Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT, directed by Zeynep Akca. TWELFTH NIGHT runs through February 27 at Westbeth Community Room & Gallery (55 Bethune Street, New York, NY).

Scar Tissue is a play that revolves around two roommates, Jessica (playwright Victoria Fragnito) and Sam (Rita McCann), each going through their own struggles in dealing with toxic relationships from their pasts. Jessica is attempting to break free from the memories of a man she dated in college, Luke (Nick Ritacco), a man who haunts her current relationship with Jack (Brandon Ford Green). Sam, on the other hand, is struggling with her relationship with her sister, Hannah (Jillian Vitko), who abandoned her in a time of need. When both women have to face their pasts head-on, truths are revealed and realities are shattered, threatening the relationship between the two roommates.

Independent theater company Match: Lit will brings two Shakespeare's HENRY V and TWELFTH NIGHT performed in rotating repertory at the Westbeth Community Room & Gallery beginning February 18th.

Announced today is the world premiere of Scar Tissue, a bold new play by Victoria Fragnito, who makes her NYC playwrighting debut. Featuring direction by Jenn Susi and music by Kristin Sgarro, Scar Tissue is set to premiere on the Steve and Marie Sgouros Theatre at The Players Theatre (115 MacDougal Street) with performances beginning Thursday, January 13, and set to run through Sunday, January 30, 2022.

This February, rising indie Shakespeare company Match: Lit brings to its audience one of William Shakespeare's best-loved comedies in As You Like It. The production is directed by Laurel Andersen (Barefoot Shakespeare, Occupy Verona, Turn To Flesh Productions) and is produced by Match: Lit's Executive Artistic Director, Kristin Sgarro, who also serves as the production's composer and musical director. The production will open Thursday, February 13 and close Sunday, February 23.

The production is directed by Phoebe Brooks (Spicy Witch Productions) and is produced by Match: Lit's Artistic Director, Kristin Sgarro. The production will open Wednesday, February 13 and close Sunday, February 17.
