On Saturday, February 11th and Sunday, February 12th, Queens Theatre presents The Monkey King: A Kung-Fu Musical, an original production by real-life dynamic duo husband and wife team and theatre artists from Forest Hills, Queens,  Kimbirdlee and Jonathan Fadner.

Marking the lead-up to Thornton Wilder’s 125 Birthday, The Magis Theatre Company’s production of Wilder's The Alcestiad- A play in three acts, which was postponed from last summer due to COVID, will now be presented this June 18-20, 2021, during the summer solstice.

The Magis Theatre Company will present Thornton Wilder's rarely performed play, The Alcestiad- A play in three acts with a satyr play: The Drunken Sisters, directed by George Drance. Scheduled to begin its limited run on June 20 through June 28, 2020, at Roosevelt Island's Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park.

Get a glimpse into the legendary world of a?oeThe Monkey King, A Modern Musicala??, which had a developmental workshop presented by National Asian Artists Project (NAAP). The workshop took place on Thursday, Oct 3, 2019 at Actors Temple Theatre in NYC. A cast of 9 actors representative of the asian theatre community and members of NAAP, under the direction of Steven Eng, brought an explosive new musical to life at the Actors Temple Theater (339 W 47th St, New York, NY) on Oct 3.
