Susan Mack debuted her new show at Birdland Jazz Club. Susan brought her jazz vocals to American Songbook and Popular songs from the 1930's to the 1990's. Directed by Lina Koutrakos and backed by Susan's trio of musicians including Tedd Firth (Piano), David Finck (Bass), Eric Halvorson (Drums), with guest appearance by Trumpeter Benny Benack III.

St. Louis Cabaret Conference's Producer/Host Tim Schall helms a week of Master Classes and Workshops for Cabaret performers featuring a faculty of the Cabaret and Nightclub world's most respected professionals.

Carole J. Bufford returned to Birdland on Monday, October 31 with a brand-new show celebrating all things Halloween. Ms. Bufford and company (Ian Herman, Howie Gordon, Tom Hubbard) brought eerie music like 'Every Breath You Take,' 'Bad Moon Rising,” 'I Want To Be Evil,' 'Witchy Woman,' 'Cruella de Ville,' 'St. James Infirmary,' 'Send Me To The 'Lectric Chair,' and more to the stage of the historic music room.

On Monday, October 17, Julie Halston returned to the Birdland stage after two-and-a-half years of global pandemic Zoom Meetings and Green Screens. The Tony-winning actress/comedienne brought her new show “De-Classified,” in which she assesses the state of the world, the state of her life and the state of her hair.

Birdland presented three award-winning musicians in “Three Friends/One Piano.” Jim Brickman, Victoria Shaw and Peter Cincotti created an evening of “musical chairs” as they played their hits and told the stories behind them. See photos here!

On Monday, September 19, pianist/singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli combined their considerable talents for an evening of great music celebrating the legendary Mel Tormé and Ella Fitzgerald.

Every Monday, showbiz superstars hit the stage alongside up-and-comers, serving up jaw-dropping music and general razzle-dazzle on the Birdland stage. Showman Jim Caruso guides the entire affair with razor-sharp humor. Musical director Billy Stritch holds court at the ivories, along with Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums. But the real fun starts when the audience participates in the onstage festivities. Broadway legends, jazzers, cabaret divas, starry-eyed tourists, and kids right off the bus storm the stage to entertain each other. Once again, Sam Gravitte, recently seen as Fiyero in Wicked on Broadway, teamed up with a quartet of some of New York City’s most dynamic young musicians at Birdland on Monday evening.
