The excitement continues in Historic Commercial Center District World Village when a new musical will make its United States debut, opening a new show lounge. Broadway Goes Hollywood will open Pompey Entertainment’s new showroom and restaurant, The Composers Room, on Nov. 21.

What did our critic think of HAIRSPRAY at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre?

HAIRSPRAY, Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, has announced casting and the touring schedule for the 2023-2024 season. This new North American tour, helmed by original director Jack O'Brien and original choreographer Jerry Mitchell, will visit 45 cities including premiere engagements in Calgary, AB; Charlotte, NC; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Edmonton, ALB; Houston, TX; Nashville, TN; Ottawa, ONT; Vancouver, BC; and many more.

Many entertainers will join their hearts and voices for an encore performance of the hit original musical theatre concert God Lives In Glass. The 20th-anniversary performance will be celebrated at Reynolds Hall in The Smith Center on Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the nonprofit The Composers Showcase of Las Vegas.  

Many of Las Vegas' finest entertainers will join hearts and voices at The Smith Center for an encore performance of the hit original musical theatre concert “God Lives In Glass” at Reynolds Hall on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 3 p.m.  

Emmy and Golden Globe-winning choreographer and producer Jeff Kutash (Splash!) join forces with composer Keith Thompson (Jersey Boys) to honor Mr. Showmanship. Puttin’ On The Glitz musical benefit concert will kick off Liberace Legacy Week at Coop’s Cabaret and Hot Spot on May 15.

Aerosol is in the air as Tracy Turnblad, Penny Pingleton, and the teens of Baltimore bring politics and pizzazz to Hollywood with a stunning production of one of the best and beloved musicals of all time.
