What did our critic think of THE MOUSETRAP at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre?

Having seen Victor Legarreta act in a number of shows at Broadway Palm, I was not surprised at anything I saw in The Mousetrap which he directed. Everything and everybody are bigger than life.

The Full Monty, adapted from the 1997 British film, features a score by David Yazbek and book by Terrence McNally. The show introduces the audience to six unemployed steelworkers who come up with a seemingly crazy way to raise some money—performing a Chippendales-style act. The Full Monty, which first opened on Broadway in 2000, follows these characters and their families as they work to overcome both external and internal struggles. Actor Craig Smith takes the stage as Jerry in The Full Monty at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.

The Full Monty is a lot of fun, and a great palate cleanser after the more solemn, Ragtime.  It is playing now through June 22.

Agatha Christie has sold more books than anyone other than the Bible and Shakespeare.  This story easily explains why.  Go see it, learn the secrets of The Mousetrap, and then, most importantly, keep them to yourself!

Back by popular demand!! The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre is once again telling the family favorite, A Christmas Carol. A fabulous meal and a classic holiday show, this will certainly sell out fast. 

Jesus Christ Superstar is a classic show that brought rock music to the Broadway stage.  EPAC’s production might not be perfect but it has a lot to offer.  Running now through October 28.

What did our I was lucky enough to see The Prom when it was on Broadway a few years ago.  It was fresh, funny, and inspiring.  EPAC’s production highlights all of those feelings without being redundant or derivative. critic think of THE PROM at EPAC?

The Ephrata Performing Arts Center (EPAC) will present the hit musical comedy, The Prom, from July 27th through August 12th, and proves to be another example of EPAC's commitment to sharing LGBTQ+ stories of visibility and acceptance.

The Ephrata Performing Arts Center (EPAC) will present one of Stephen Sondheim's lesser known, yet highly esteemed and polarizing works, Passion from April 27th through May 13th. This production serves as the second installment in EPAC's season-long tribute to the late, great, Stephen Sondheim.

The winners have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Central Pennsylvania Awards, honoring the best in regional productions, touring shows, and more which had their first performance between October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.
