Book, music and lyrics are by Karlan Judd. Tristan J. Shuler directs and choreographs the production which has an open-ended run. Casting has been announced for the upcoming THE BIG BANG THEORY: A POP-ROCK MUSICAL PARODY - the new Off-Broadway musical spoofing the beloved CBS series and its eccentric and funny group of scientists. John McGowan will be featured as Sheldon Cooper, Teresa Hui as Amy Farrah-Fowler, Kevin Stevens as Leonard Hofstadter, Bailey McCall Thomas as Penny, Brandon Delsid as Rajesh Koothrappali, Isaac Calvin as Howard Wolowitz, Hannah Bonnett as Bernadette, and Meagan Michaelson as Star Trek's 'Q'. Performances begin on Wednesday, March 6 at the Anne Bernstein Theater (1627 Broadway).

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces new leadership positions. Joining Artistic Director Heidi Stillman and Executive Director Rachel L. Fink to lead the theatre, the Board has elected Nancy Timmers, a prominent civic leader and philanthropist, as Board Chair and Richard Chapman, Member of Counsel at Clark Hill PLC, as Board President. Lookingglass has also appointed Hilary Odom as the company's new Director of Development.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces its complete 2018-2019 season lineup. The season begins with the World Premiere of The Steadfast Tin Soldier: A Christmas Pantomime, conceived and directed by Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman from the story by Hans Christian Andersen. Following The Steadfast Tin Soldier is the World Premiere of Act(s) of God written by Ensemble Member Kareem Bandealy and directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman.

Lookingglass Theatre Company concludes its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas runs May 23 - August 19, 2018 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. 

Lookingglass Theatre Company continues its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere of Plantation! a new comedy by Ensemble Member Kevin Douglas, directed by Ensemble Member David Schwimmer. Plantation! runs February 21 - April 22, 2018 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

Lookingglass Theatre Company's Board of Directors announces the appointment of the theatre's new Executive Director Rachel L. Fink. Fink will begin her tenure at Lookingglass on February 19, 2018. She succeeds Rachel Kraft, who stepped down as Executive Director after 12 years with the company.
