Jamie Wilson and Gavin Kalin have announced that Charlotte Wakefield will play 'Polly' in the national tour of the Watermill Theatre's acclaimed production of 'CRAZY FOR YOU'. Charlotte joins the previously announced Tom Chambers as 'Bobby' and Caroline Flack as 'Irene'. 'CRAZY FOR YOU' opens at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth on 17 August 2017.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces casting for the final two shows of its 2016-2017 season, including the U.S. Premiere of Beyond Caring, written and directed by Alexander Zeldin in association with Dark Harbor Stories, a company led by Ensemble Member David Schwimmer and Tom Hodges, as well as the remount of the Jeff Award-winning Moby Dick, adapted from the novel by Herman Melville and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin.

Lookingglass Theatre Company will offer daily drama workshop programs, based on its renowned Arts Quest and Summergglass Camps, during the course of the upcoming CPS strike (scheduled to start Tuesday October 11). Camps are open to CPS students in grades K-5 and will include physical theatre workshops (which may include juggling, tumbling, stage combat, etc.), as well as storytelling and drama workshops.

Broadway veterans Kirby and Beverly Ward star in Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston's Crazy for You, George and Ira Gershwin's musical comedy about a 1930's playboy who just wants to dance, through August 14, 2016 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452).  Ward reprises his spectacular Olivier Award-nominated role as 'Bobby Child,' the part he originated for the 1993 London premiere.  This high-energy production also stars Broadway veteran Beverly Ward (Epic Proportions, Billy Elliot ) as 'Polly Baker.' Crazy for You features flashy tap dance numbers and such memorable songs as 'Someone to Watch Over Me,' 'Embraceable You' and 'I Got Rhythm.' Original choreography by Susan Stroman, reproduced by Eileen Grace (Radio City Christmas Spectacular, 42nd Street).

 Multi-platinum-selling country artist Sara Evans, ukulele phenomenon Jake Shimabukuro, Grammy-nominated folk singer-songwriter Iris DeMent, Blues Hall of Famer Robert Cray, and the Nashville assemblage of high-dollar studio musicians The Time Jumpers, featuring Vince Gill, Kenny Sears, Ranger Doug Green, and Paul Franklin, are just a few of the artists set to appear at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University during its 2016-2017 season.

Bay City Players will present CRAZY FOR YOU, THE NEW GERSHWIN MUSICAL, with Music and Lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and Book by Ken Ludwig. Lookingglass Education and Community Programs offer summer camps that feature a broad variety and depth of programming designed to offer a unique theatrical experience for all. Lookingglass summer camps instruct students through ensemble-based techniques of transformation, adaptation and invention, instilling self-esteem and confidence in every student. Students develop strong theatrical skills by working with stories from a variety of genres, as well as create new work.
