Forestburgh Playhouse has announced the 2022 Forestburgh Under the Stars Broadway Concert Series (June 3 - 18).

Forty-four years ago, in 1978, the original Bob Fosse's 'Dancin'' opened on Broadway. It was the quintessential culmination of the collection of Bob Fosse's choreography up to that point in time. He won a Tony award that year for Best Choreography for 'Dancin'.'

BOB FOSSE’S DANCIN’ originally came to the New York stage in 1978 and now you can see the world premiere revival at The Old Globe through May 29th.  This dance show is full of stunning dancers, and the work they bring to life is gorgeous, engaging, athletic, and sexy. Swedish guitar virtuoso Ynwie Malmsteen performs at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) on Tuesday, May 3 at 8:00PM. Lobby and bar concessions open at 7pm.

Northlight Theatre has announced its 2022-2023 season, opening with the buddy comedy The Garbologists by Lindsay Joelle, directed by Cody Estle; followed by Georgiana & Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, directed by Marti Lyons and more.

The four albums that comprise I Am The Moon — I. Crescent, II. Ascension, III. The Fall, and IV. Farewell — will be released in successive months beginning with I. Crescent, available digitally and on CD, Friday, June 3rd. (All vinyl configurations, including individual LPs and the 4-LP I Am The Moon Deluxe Box will be available on September 9th.)

From Tony-Winners to World Premiers, Lost Nation Theater's 2022 Line-up features shows that will stun you, take your breath away, and sometimes leave you breathless with laughter!

The A side “When The Fire Grows Cold”, a piano-led nightmare-lullaby co-sung by the legendary musician-activist, Robert Wyatt. The B side is “Extinction!”, a 7-minute Balkan-brass psychedelic fantasy featuring the late, great Daevid Allen’s glissando guitar solo and the wonderful Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey, Lydia Lunch, Tindersticks) on saxophone.

The Alliance Theatre has announced the productions in its 54th season.  The new season will feature nine productions including four world premieres on its two stages, The Coca-Cola Stage and Hertz Stage. 

Kronos Quartet returns to New York City with a performance in Zankel Hall on Saturday, April 23 at 9:30 p.m. The ensemble makes a timely statement with an eclectic program featuring George Crumb’s Black Angels, the iconic work that inspired the founding of the ensemble. The piece is a powerful parable written in response to the Vietnam War, scored for amplified string quartet with percussive sounds, spoken-word passages, and other special effects.

Zero Announce Naught Again Live Album Featuring Unissued 1992 Performances at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall. The lead single, “End Of The World Blues,” is available now. The Double-CD/Digital will be out on May 20, and the double-vinyl is out on October 14 via Omnivore Recordings. The album will be newly mixed by Emmy®-nominated Engineer Brian Risner. 

Gulf Coast Records announces what promises to be THE blues music tour of the year: “Blood Brothers,” featuring Blues Music Award-winners Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia, which kicks off in late March and goes through April.  

The subscription music-centric streaming channel The Coda Collection introduces The Coda Companion, a first-of-its-kind second screen experience that unites concert films on the channel with the untold stories that surround and enrich those films. The new service will include concerts from Metallica, Carole King, The Grateful Dead and more.

Kicking off today with the release of “Cunning Stunts'' and “Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México,” The Coda Collection will soon release the much-anticipated anniversary concerts, “Metallica 40th Anniversary LIVE,'' two separate concert films delivered with all-new edits and fully remixed audio.
