Casting details are announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) 2020 Summer production of The Comedy of Errors, which plays in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from 25 April 2020. Joining the previously announced Miles Jupp, who will make his RSC debut as Antipholus of Syracuse, is Jonathan Broadbent (Dromio of Syracuse), Justin Edwards (Antipholus of Ephesus), Greg Haiste (Dromio of Ephesus), Georgia Landers (Luciana) and Annette McLaughlin (Adrianna). Directed by Phillip Breen, the production will be cross-cast with The Winter's Tale (from 28 March 2020) and Pericles (from 15 August 2020). All three plays are sponsored by Darwin Escapes.

Ovation TV, America's only arts network, has acquired the U.S. broadcast rights for the second season of the Julia Stiles-led drama series Riviera (10 x 60') from Sky Studios. The arts network also signed a deal for the first season of Hooten & the Lady (8 x 60'), which will debut on Ovation's AVOD travel and culture channel JOURNY. The announcement was made today by Scott Woodward, EVP Programming and Production, Ovation.
The first production in this season will be Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' modern epic IN THE BLOOD (17 April a?" 6 June 2020). Ellen McDougall will direct the first major UK production.
The National Youth Theatre (NYT) has been awarded £2,000,000 from the Mayor of London's Good Growth Fund to undergo a major renovation to its Holloway Road building in North London. The radical development will enable NYT to double the number of young people they engage in the building through their annual programme which provides, free and affordable drama opportunities that champion diversity, creativity and routes into the creative industries.

BAFTA-winning actress Jessica Hynes will make her Donmar debut in the role of Harper alongside Aisling Loftus as Joan and Simon Manyonda as Todd.
