The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that they will present the 2020 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre to four outstanding contributors to the Broadway industry - Fred Gallo, President of PRG Scenic Technologies; Broadway press agent Irene Gandy; stage manager Beverly Jenkins and New Federal Theatre, Woodie King, Jr. Founder.

The “Spotlight on Plays” series has announced Emmy Award winner Eric McCormack and Brandon Burton will join previously announced star Mary-Louise Parker in Paula Vogel’s The Baltimore Waltz, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz.  The Baltimore Waltz will premiere on Thursday, April 29 at 8PM EST/5PM PST and will be available for a limited time only.

Actress Joy Bryant, Broadway journo Imogen Lloyd Webber, Broadway press legend Irene Gandy, CBS News commentator Jamal Simmons, and Michel Martin of NPR and PBS fame, joined journalist turned playwright, Keli Goff and others for a virtual opening night screening and zoom toast to celebrate the launch of Goff's play, The Glorious World of Crowns, Kinks and Curls at Baltimore Center Stage (BCS) where it will be streamed through April 18th.

Dress Circle Publishing has announced the release of THE UNTOLD STORIES OF BROADWAY, VOLUME 4, the latest in a series by historian and producer Jennifer Ashley Tepper. The book will be available on Tuesday, March 9 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the 2020-2021 Broadway shutdown.

The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce presents THE HARLEM SUMMITS | The Pride Summit. The inaugural Pride Summit will bring together leaders to discuss the ways in which the LGBT Community is advancing despite the global pandemic. 

On Monday, February 10th The League of Professional Theatre Women (Shellen Lubin and Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been championing women in the professional theatre for over three decades, hosted an Oral History Project event with renowned Broadway publicist Irene Gandy in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Avenue at 65th Street). For the second installment of the Oral History Project's 2019-2020 season, publicist, producer, and PR maven Irene Gandy discussed her life and ground breaking career with producer Voza Rivers, Artistic Director of the New Heritage Theatre Group.

Admission to the event is FREE and seats are available on a first-come-first-seated basis. Doors will open at 5:30pm.

Downstairs at Bond 45, the popular Times Square eatery was hopping with the debut of “Shelly & Friends” Revue hosted by legendary Broadway publicist Irene Gandy and Emmy Winning Anchor and Host from Spectrum TV's 'On Stage' Frank Di Lella. The cabaret evening, produced by Katherine Moon, was a tribute to the iconic restauranteur Shelly Fireman of the Fireman Group which owns and runs New York's popular Trattoria dell' Arte, Café Fiorello, Brooklyn Diner, Redeye Grill and Bond 45.

Fireman Hospitality Group announces special Monday night concerts at Downstairs at Bond 45 (221 West 46th Street). 'Shelly & Friends' nights will light up the stage with hosts Frank DiLella (Emmy Award winning host of Spectrum News NY1's On Stage) and Broadway legend Irene Gandy.
