Not many directors could helm a blockbuster stage adaptation of a hit film starring George Clooney, the Broadway transfer of a dark and quirky musical about a Dead Outlaw, and an off-Broadway meditation on the root and consequences of AI all in the span of four months. On Saturday, October 26th, Queens Theatre will host the grand finale of THEATERAMA!—a months-long series that began in April to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 1964/65 World’s Fair.

A new musical, Particle Fever, based on the 2013 documentary film about the largest scientific experiment ever undertaken, is currently in development. The musical is written by David Henry Hwang, includes new music and lyrics by Bear McCreary and Zoe Sarnak, is directed by Leigh Silverman, and produced by Megan Kingery and Annie Roney.
