At This Performance…  will return to The Green Room 42 featuring standbys, understudies, and alternates From Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Almost Famous; Hadestown; Funny Girl; Aladdin; and Paradise Square.  

For three nights the Mabel Mercer Foundation presented their picks of artists for the 2022 Cabaret Convention at Rose Theater at Jazz At Lincoln Center.

At Sardi’s Restaurant, the Broadway community celebrated the launch of the new book Transforming Space Over Time by Tony Award winning set designer Beowulf Boritt. Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards® Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

The Town Hall presented Broadway By The Year: From The Ziegfeld Follies To Moulin Rouge on Monday, May 23 at 8pm. Created, written, directed and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, the evening continued Broadway By The Year's 21st landmark season at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street).

They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway. On May 23, 2022, Town Hall’s tribute to show business of the past—BROADWAY BY THE YEAR—proved just that. From the glitz and glamour of the musical revue, to updated standards from beloved jukebox musicals, this one-night-only spectacle delivered on powerhouse vocalists, exciting dance numbers, and a celebration of “everything old is new again.”

Based on the early life of Pablo Picasso and introduced to the theater industry as a fully orchestrated concept album held an industry listening party was held May 16, 2022 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in Manhattan.

PABLO, a new musical based on the early life of legendary artist Pablo Picasso, is being introduced to the theater industry and public in the spirit of hit Broadway musicals like Hadestown and Jekyll and Hyde, as a fully orchestrated concept album with a cast of Broadway, Off-Broadway, and national touring performers.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets has announced the 2022 MAC Award nominees. The nominees were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership, except for the song and recording categories, which were determined by special committees.

Two time Broadway World Award winner Mark William celebrated Valentine’s Day at Chelsea Table + Stage - New York's newest hotspot, with his new show Love Sings! The evening was full of romantic and show stopping love songs from Broadway, Pop, Hollywood, and The Great American Songbook. 

The Broadway revival of The Music Man opened at the Winter Garden Theatre last night, February 10, starring Tony-winners Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. Check out photos from the red carpet here!
