BWW Review: National Tour of SCHOOL OF ROCK Bounces Into OKC Broadway

Nominated for multiple Tony awards when it premiered on Broadway in 2015, the heartfelt and dynamic SCHOOL OF ROCK national tour stops at Oklahoma City's Civic Center Music Hall. Based on the hit movie starring Jack Black, this production strikes the right chord of cheeky humor (for both kids and adults) and earnest sentiment, topped off by a zesty score to keep everything moving. This show is a rollicking delight for the entire family, and a theatrical opportunity not to be missed.

BWW Review: SCHOOL OF ROCK at The Hobby Center

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Glenn Slater wrote the score and Julian Fellowes wrote the book. The show is nearly as pedigreed as the characters on Fellowes' PBS masterpiece Downton Abbey. (Pun intended.)

BWW Review: SCHOOL OF ROCK Sports Heavy-Metal Vulgarity

Somewhat muted and diluted at cavernous Ovens Auditorium, the touring company of SCHOOL OF ROCK is as talented and high-energy as their Broadway counterparts - reminding us that Andrew Lloyd Webber can truly rock.

BWW Review: Shaking That Post-Holiday Slump with SCHOOL OF ROCK

Still shaking off the holidays? Well look no further than to rock into the new year with SCHOOL OF ROCK at the Dr. Phillips Center. Based off the 2003 movie starring Jack Black, this musical features new music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It plays like a rock concert that is fun for both families and adults with a talented cast that delights all.
