Following a sold-out debut in the US, CandyBomber Productions and globally acclaimed choreographer Sisco Gomez (So You Think You Can Dance, The Voice, The X Factor) bring their Hip Hop theatre show to London for its UK premiere. 

1883 follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land – Montana.

Produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) and recorded at Cobb’s studio in Savannah, GA, 1988 is named for the year McKenna married her husband, Gene, and serves as a love letter to her family and lifelong friendships. The album includes a songwriting collaboration with her son, Chris (“Happy Children”).

The music video for GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Lori McKenna’s new song, “Killing Me” feat. Hillary Lindsey, is debuting now. Directed by Derrick Javon, the video finds McKenna in a tender moment, as she addresses her younger self (played by actress Lauren Starr), supporting her as she searches for inner peace.

Urban Stages will present its 39th annual benefit, taking place on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 starting a 6:30pm at the legendary club The Players - 16 Gramercy Park South, NYC. 

Ahead of the album, new song, “Killing Me,” featuring McKenna’s longtime collaborator, Hillary Lindsey, and written by McKenna, Lindsey and Luke Laird, is out now. The special two-hour concert event follows Wynonna’s history-making homecoming return to the Murphy Center at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), recreating The Judds’ 1991 farewell tour for a special televised event featuring Wynonna’s tourmates Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town and Martina McBride.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present singer and violinist Edmund Bagnell in “Home for the Holidays” on Monday, December 12 at 8:30 PM. The countdown to the holidays is on, and through music and humor Bagnell shares his heartfelt and humorous recipe for a perfectly imperfect holiday season.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present acclaimed vocalist Carole J. Bufford in the New York debut of her concert “Vintage Pop!” for a special six-show run from Friday, December 9 through Sunday, December 11, with performances each night at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

Birdland Jazz Club will present Billy Gilman – the platinum-selling country music artist known for his run on NBC’s “The Voice” — in “A Billy Gilman Christmas” on Monday, December 5 at 7:00 PM.

MUSE/IQUE will conclude its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. Composed: A Festival of Los Angeles Music. Each concert of L.A. Composed focusses on a different street and the music that is associated with it. Sunset on Sunset, a musical journey into the center of L.A.'s soul, will be performed Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 at 7:30pm at historic Union Station.

Birdland Jazz Club will present the New York concert debut of actress and vocalist Maddie Baillio – best known for her appearances in the Amazon film Cinderella and NBC’s “Hairspray Live!” – on Monday, November 21 at 7:00 PM.
