NY Madness starts its 9th season this month. The first Madness of the season will be a collaboration with The Playwriting Collective and will take place on Sunday, January 27 at 8pm at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).

Following the success of The New York Times critic's pick The Tricky Part by Martin Moran, The Barrow Group, under the leadership of Co-Artistic Directors Seth Barrish and Lee Brock and Executive Director Robert Serrell, continues its 2018-2019 season with the world premiere of AWAKE, written and directed by K. Lorrel Manning.

Crowded Fire Theater (CFT) Crowded Fire's Artistic Director Mina Morita unveiled the 2019 mainstage season lineup including two new plays that continue to uphold the company's long tradition of creating boundary-pushing theater.

Goodman Theatre proudly announces its cast for the world premiere of How to Catch Creation by Christina Anderson-"a gifted playwright you want to pay attention to" (Variety). A vivid portrait of three artist/intellectual couples exploring life, children and marriage-coming together and coming apart-How to Catch Creation is directed by Niegel Smith, who most recently directed the smash sensation Father Comes Home from the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3) last season at the Goodman.

The Pierre New York, A Taj Hotel's acclaimed cabaret series, Broadway At The Pierre, continues this month with a celebration of HAMILTON: An American Musical. On Monday November 5th, the iconic five-star hotel will welcome Hamilton alums Sasha Hutchings and Hope Easterbrook for a special one night only performance.

Theatre production company Parity Productions has released its monthly list of Qualifying Productions for December -their popular directory of New York City shows in which the individual creative teams have 50% of the positions filled with cis women and trans and gender nonfconforming (TGNC) artists (directors, designers, and playwrights).

Epic Theatre Ensemble announces it has extended its initial limited run of the world premiere of The Winning Side, the acclaimed new play by James Wallert, by popular demand.

Epic Theatre Ensemble is currently presenting The Winning Side by James Wallert at The Acorn Theatre/Theatre Row. The play tells the story of Nazi Germany scientist Wernher von Braun and his role in building the rockets that took an American man to the moon. Through time (and space) The Winning Side presents a portrait that effectively balances moral issues and positive outcomes.

Target Margin Theater (Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Associate Artistic Director Moe Yousuf) is proud to present a remount of its acclaimed production, Pay No Attention to the Girl, for a limited three week run (October 25-November 11). The production brings to life interwoven stories about the sexes - their conflicts, their love, their tricks -from various translations / transmissions of The One Thousand and One Nights, a collection of Silk Road, MENA (Middle Eastern / North African), and South Asian tales.

Up next at Epic Theatre Ensemble is the world premiere of The Winning Side, a new play by James Wallert. Based on the true story of Wernher von Braun, Chief Rocket Engineer for the Third Reich and one of the fathers of the United States space program, The Winning Side explores the hidden history behind America's 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing.

Epic Theatre Ensemble returns off-Broadway with the world premiere of The Winning Side, a new play by James Wallert

Berkeley Rep announced today that Obie Award-winning performer Nilaja Sun (No Child…) will return with her tour-de-force solo show Pike St., directed by Ron Russell. Hailed as "Full of vivid life" by the New York Times, this limited engagement will run Saturday, November 17, 2018 through Sunday, December 16, 2018.

Epic Theatre Ensemble  is proud to announce its special guest line-up for the post-show talkbacks following every performance of the world premiere of The Winning Side, a new play by James Wallert.

Voyage Theater Company/PARTS UNKNOWN Play Reading Series will present a staged reading of acclaimed Turkish playwright Sedef Ecer's e-smuggler.com, in a new English-language translation by Amelia Parenteau, directed by Lisa Rothe, at the 53rd Street New York Public Library (18 W 53 Street, across the street from MOMA), Thur October 18 at 7pm. Admission is FREE and open to the public, but reservations are highly encouraged. Please RSVP here. The performance will run approximately 70 minutes, with no intermission.
