Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Emily Scott Robinson will embark on a special tour next year with Alisa Amador and Violet Bell in celebration of her new release, Built On Bones, a song cycle for the Witches of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. In addition to the trio performing the project in its entirety, each of the artists will also perform.

Watch the official music video, directed by Colin Sullivan and featuring Maire Higgins and Katie Shewbridge, below. “Double Double” is the second song unveiled from Robinson’s anticipated new project, Built on Bones, a song cycle for the Witches of Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth.

Originally commissioned for the Telluride Theatre, these songs first came to life on stage, with Robinson directing the music and performing in the role of Hecate. Following a fan response, Robinson joined forces with producer Brandy Zdan and fellow artists Alisa Amador and Lizzy Ross (of duo Violet Bell) to record these modernized adaptations.

Recently named Label of the Year at the 2022 A2IM Librea Awards, Oh Boy will release pressings of two of John Prine’s albums: Aimless Love (1984)—Prine’s first full-length album, which was completely fan-funded and launched the label—will be released August 26, while the GRAMMY-nominated, German Afternoons (1986), will be available September 16.

Stage West will present George Brant’s hilarious Into the Breeches!, which begins a 4-week regional premiere run on Thursday, June 9.
