This weekend, Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, presents Message In A Bottle, a collection of original mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's annual musical theater lab process. Message In A Bottle, the company's 13th lab production, will be presented on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30pm and Sunday, June 2 at 2:00pm at The A.R.T. / New York Theatres (502 West 53rd St, NYC). The lab will feature performances by an ensemble of Prospect alumni artists, and newcomers: Joanna Carpenter, Christopher Cherry, Diego Diaz, Ellis Gage, Alyssa Gomez, Sevan Greene, Jiho Kang, Patty Nieman, Allison Posner, Alicia Thomas, and Jeff Williams.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' June 14, 2019 at 7pm. Turchin previously performed several successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage.

The Early Night Show With Joshua Turchin released the live performance of 'I Won't Grow Up, Or Will I?... a Peter Pan-Inspired Medley', a parody medley arranged, co-written, and performed by Joshua Turchin (A Christmas Story, The Pill, TrevorLive LA) and Ellis Gage (James & the Giant Peach World Premiere). Joshua Turchin also served as the music director and accompanist. The parody is a humorous and touching dialogue delving into the mind of pre-pubescent boy sopranos who fear the inevitable onset of puberty when they must face the reality that they will, in fact, grow up. Producer The Green Room 42 played host on Sunday, February 10, 2019, to the third edition of The Early Night Show LIVE! created, written, directed, accompanied, and performed by 12 year old Joshua Turchin. The young performer, writer and composer drew lots of laughs and applause throughout the cabaret featuring music, sketch comedy, improv, and special guests Yuka Takara, Ellis Gage, Bonale Fambrini, Monroe George, Audrey Bennett, Sydney Chan, Eleanor Koski, McKayla Twiggs, Ava Ulloa (on drums), and Shaina Turchin.

Hundreds of hopeful actors, ages 6 to 16, showed up at the Circle in the Square Theatre today, April 25, to audition for the Broadway musical GODSPELL. The audition panel, including director Daniel Goldstein, is looking to fill 10 roles in the show. About 300 kids, including Holly Block, Gaten Matarazzo and Ellis Gage, who are featured in the video below, performed 16 measures of music for the panel.
