Today, Dave Matthews Band announced dates for its 2020 North American summer tour, which will launch with a two-night stand on June 16th in Uncasville, CT at Mohegan Sun Arena. The headline run will also include two-night stands in Noblesville, IN, Chicago, IL, Saratoga Springs, NY, Gilford, NH, West Palm Beach, FL, Irvine, CA and Durant, OK.

Double E Pictures and Live Nation Productions announced today that they have come on-board as executive producers for the award-winning documentary, All I Can Say. Asbury Park based band Lowlight have released their new song “Every Time” via Ghettoblaster. The track appears on their 2nd full-length album, Endless Bummer, out September 13 via Telegraph Hill Records. 

“The House That Built Me,” the newest song from Tanya Tucker's upcoming album While I'm Livin', debuts today. Made famous by Miranda Lambert, the song is one of the well-chosen covers on the release. In Tucker's version, the lyrics have been adapted to reflect the journey of a mother revisiting the home where she raised her family in order to find herself again. 

The Lumineers have announced a 2020 headlining North American tour of arenas and amphitheatres. The tour dates are in support of their upcoming album III out September 13 on Dualtone (an Entertainment One Company) in the U.S. and Canada, and on Decca Records for the rest of the world. Mt. Joy, who recently emerged as “a fast and furious 21st century success story” (Magnet), has been added as support for multiple dates. Asbury Park-based indie-rocker Rachel Ana Dobken has premiered the music video for her single, “Always,” via Atwood Magazine. The single is the second from her album, When It Happens To You, which Dobken self-produced and released in 2018. The video finds Dobken showcasing her musical talents as she hops between guitar and drums in a vintage roller rink. She shared the making of her new video and how it represents “Always” with Atwood.

Tanya Tucker has added a second appearance in Nashville, with a performance slated for August 23 at the venerable Grand Ole Opry as part of her run of select dates this fall celebrating the release of her new album, While I'm Livin' (out the same day,August 23 via Fantasy Records).

Preservation Hall Jazz Band has announced the release of their new album A Tuba To Cuba, the soundtrack to the critically acclaimed documentary directed by T.G. Herringtonand Danny Clinch, out June 28, 2019 via Sub Pop. Today, they have released the track “Keep Your Head Up” from the album. Legendary rock band Blind Melon's Christopher Thorn and Roger Stevens are Tom Needham's special guests this upcoming Thursday, May 2nd at 6 pm on WUSB's THE SOUNDS OF FILM. They will be discussing their innovative documentary, ALL I CAN SAY, which is having its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in the 'Viewpoints' Documentary Program.

Today the very deliberate debut solo album from Tim Baker makes its way into the wider world. Forever Overhead (Arts & Crafts) is a blend of piano ballads with ebullient folk-rock tracks. Although the record is brushed with the qualities of 70s singer-songwriters (think Jackson Browne and Randy Newman) Baker drew inspiration from his contemporaries like Feist, Leif Vollebekk, and The Barr Brothers. The resulting organic blend of pop grooves and folk-rock is straightforward with curious undertones that provides a timeless backdrop for Baker's vibrant lyricism.

Bruce Springsteen made his first on stage appearance of 2019 recently at New York's Tribeca Grill for a benefit supporting the Kristen Ann Carr Fund.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.
