Rise and shine, BroadwayWorld! It is January 17, 2024 and it's time to catch up on all of the theatrical happenings you may have missed in the last 24 hours.

The full cast has been revealed for the upcoming Broadway production of The Heart of Rock and Roll, the new musical inspired by the iconic songs written and performed by Huey Lewis and The News. Find out who is starring in the musical here!

Casey Cott and Courtney Reed have officially joined the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway as Christian and Satine respectively. The pair began performances on August 1.  Check out photos of their first bows here!

Casey Cott, who is best known for his role of Kevin Keller in the television series Riverdale, is Moulin Rouge!'s next Christian. Check out some video highlights of his past performances onstage.

Ariana DeBose will perform a medley for the Tony Awards, set to be held tonight, Sunday, June 11 at 8pm EST on CBS.

Bandstand hits the stage of the Hershey Area Playhouse this Memorial Day Weekend and continues through the first weekend in June. Performances run Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons; May 25, 26, 27 and June 1, 2, and 3 at 7 p.m. and May 28 and June 4 at 2 p.m.

On Saturday October 15th, Sierra Boggess will teach two in-person auditioning classes at Discovering Broadway Inc. in Indiana. The nonprofit incubates Broadway bound musicals and offers master classes to local artists. Twenty-five percent of the class participants are sponsored at-risk youth and BIPOC artists.
