The City of Myrtle Beach is set to open a $22.3 million theater in downtown as part of the Arts & Innovation District. The project will renovate three historic buildings and create a new cultural hub.

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party, a playful and surprising take on Lewis Carroll's classic tale Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, will return to the Royal Opera House's Linbury theatre from 4-24 September 2024.

Twinkling lights, myriads of trees, a market filled with goodies, and even a hint of snow …. all join forces to create an immersive experience for the Theatre for Young Audiences series. While Robin and Clark’s musical version of the Nutcracker story has been a Christmas staple for years in cities like Chicago and Lancaster, PA, It has not been presented here in Maine until now.  But after this debut series of performances, one can only hope it will become a new Maine tradition.

Partnering with oceanographer Georgy Manucharyan and six visionary composers, violinist Rachel Lee Priday will embark on a musically rich project that blends classical music with the visual poetry of fluid dynamics experiments, including a new album, Fluid Dynamics, with pianist David Kaplan out Friday, August 23, 2024 on Orchid Classics. 

Broadway performer Jenny Mollet and film/voiceover personality Taylor Paige Henderson will headline the Spotlight KIDZ CABARET being held tonight at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Under the direction of Sandy Kost-Sterner this is the second of a four-show NYC summer cabaret series.
