YELLOW SOUND LABEL has announced the release of Sondheim Unplugged: The NYC Sessions – Volume One, the opening salvo of a monumental three-volume set dedicated to the oeuvre of iconic musical theater composer Stephen Sondheim.

The girl of a thousand voices will raise some of those voices in song before immigrating to the British Isles.

After a sold-out run in September, the award-winning, internationally acclaimed, completely improvised night of music and comedy returns to Birdland - this time upstairs! - for a rare Monday night performance.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present Christina Bianco in her new show “A Lot to Unpack” on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16 at 8:30 PM. Her bags are packed for London but before she leaves her hometown this globetrotting, genre-crossing, multi-voiced, multi-wig-wearing funny girl has some serious unpacking to do.

BIRDLAND will present Amanda Green & Friends “Vaxxed AF!” on Monday, October 4 at 7:00 PM. Tony Award-nominated lyricist/composer and award-winning performer Amanda Green will be joined by some amazing Broadway friends, including Darius de Haas, Ann Harada, Lesli Margherita, Curtis Moore, Natalie Douglas, and Dan Finnerty of The Dan Band.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this October with a full slate of nightly performances! 

A singing contest born during the quarantine has concluded its run and last night a winner was announced after an unforgettable night of music.

OFF the TOP! has added 4 special guests to the line-up. Friday, Sept 17th the show welcomes TARIK DAVIS (The Amber Ruffin Show, Freestyle Love Supreme on Broadway) and Jimmy O'Connell (the Jimmy O'Connell sextet). On Saturday, Sept 18th, Angel Desai (NCIS: New Orleans, Blue Bloods) and world-renowned recording artist, Nellie McKay (Threepenny Opera, Old Hats) join the bill.

The Rocky Horror Skivvies Show will return to Joe’s Pub on 11/1 at 8pm.  Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina are The Skivvies and will be joined with special guests Tony Winner Michael Cerveris, Tony Nominee Tom Hewitt, Tony Nominee Alison Fraser, Nick Adams, J. Harrison Ghee, Krysta Rodriguez, Travis  Kent, and more.

OFF the TOP! with JASON KRAVITS, the solo, completely improvised musical, comes back (to back) to Birdland Theater on September 17th and 18th at 8:30 pm.
