This afternoon, the company of Waitress on Broadway gathered on the stage of Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre to commemorate a Mayoral Proclamation declaring Friday, September 17, “Nick Cordero Day” in New York City.

Whether you're heading to Joe's Diner or way down under the ground, Broadway is re-opening up tonight with the arrival of two beloved musicals. Waitress kicks off its limited engagement at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre, where it will run through January 9, 2022. Just a block away, Hadestown returns to its home at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

After a year and a half without Broadway, Waitress fans will get a rare chance to revisit their favorite musical- they'll just have to travel across the street for it. A limited engagement begins performances at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre on September 2, where it will run through January 9, 2022. 

BroadwayWorld has learned that when Waitress returns to Broadway, the production will paying tribute to original cast member Nick Cordero, who passed away due to COVID early in the pandemic. On stage, there will be a pie on the diner’s chalkboard named the 'Live Your Life' pie, named for Cordero's song. 

Sara Bareilles, the Grammy Award-winning composer of Waitress, will star in the lead role of Jenna Hunterson September 2 through October 17. Learn more about the production and how to purchase tickets here!

Barry and Fran Weissler today announced casting for the hit Broadway musical Waitress which returns for a limited engagement, September 2, 2021 - January 9, 2022, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street, NYC). 

Radial Park opened its latest cinemersive experience last night with the iconic, blockbuster, fan-favorite film, The Blues Brothers! The Blues Brothers, features a live band and theatrical performances seamless timed in-sync with the movie in a one-of-a-kind hybrid mashup. The Blues Brothers, is directed by Kristine Bendul and Waldemar QuinonesVillanueva, and features a cast that includes Broadway's Charity Angel Dawson, Nick Rashad Burroughs, F.
