Now presenting an even more over-the-top follow up compared to their first go-round in THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG staged here last February, the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment revisit the earnestly bumbling folks at the fictional Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society for yet another madcap, mishap-laden production of intense British-style slapstick and comical chaotic shenanigans in its high-flying 2013 'sequel' PETER PAN GOES WRONG which will continue to crack up audiences in the City of La Mirada through November 23, 2025. Amping up the laughs even more this time around, La Mirada's so-good-it-hurts production is this time joined by former Olympic gymnast and longtime 'Peter Pan' herself Cathy Rigby serving as its cheeky 'narrator.'

Chicago will welcome Angela Grovey as “Matron Mama Morton” next week. Grovey will begin performances on Monday, September 15 at the Ambassador Theatre.

Broadway stars and real-life couple and triple-threat performers Nicolas Dromard and Desiree Davar are making their debut at the Catalina Jazz Club with Nic & Desi: From Broadway to Hollywood on Thursday May 10. I decided to speak with them about their illustrious careers, how they met, and what led to bringing their new show to Los Angeles prior to taking the show on the road.

Centenary Stage Company has announced the cast of Wasabia by Wendy Herlich as they begin first week of rehearsals. The production which serves as the play’s world premiere was originally a part of CSC’s Women Playwrights Series Readings in the Spring of 2024 and through that process was selected for the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation award giving it a full production in this season’s lineup.

These are some of the first lyrics that made me fall in love with musical theatre. I have been a fan of Peter Pan as long as I can remember, and was always jumping around my room, trying to fly. When I worked at Walt Disney World, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell were my favorite characters to work with, and before I left Disney, I got a tattoo of Peter's shadow, to always remind me to embrace my inner child.
