La danza contemporánea dejó su espacio convencional para presentarse en lugares cotidianos, como el pasillo de una vivienda donde entra en contacto directo con las personas hasta donde éstas se encuentran, a través del programa Vecindades, que cuenta con el apoyo de la Secretaria de Cultura, a través del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), e inició la víspera con la presentación gratuita de la versión libre de Sueño de una noche de verano, de William Shakespeare, a cargo de la Compañía da Danza Vicente Silva Sanjinés.
