The Country Music Association visited Seattle Tuesday, Dec. 4, with songwriters Bailey Bryan, Barry Dean, Cassadee Pope and Walker McGuire. During the trip, Bryan, Dean and Pope met with 150 music students from Seattle Public Schools' Cleveland High School and Rainier Beach High School. As part of the CMA Foundation's Places to Play partnership with U.S. Bank and its Community Possible giving platform, U.S. Bank surprised students with $25,000 worth of musical instruments for both schools' music programs. Tuesday evening, Bryan, Dean, Pope and Walker McGuire performed at a CMA Songwriters Series presented by U.S. Bank at Showbox SoDo.

On the heels of CMT's highest ratings in four years* and an historic all-female “CMT Artists of the Year” special, the network revealed the next group to join its celebrated Next Women of Country franchise at today's annual event in Nashville. The nine artists joining the elite Next Women roster are Anna Vaus, Emily Hackett, Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Lauren Duski, Leah Turner, Rachel Wammack, Stephanie Quayle and Tenille Townes. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. The Country Music Association visited Los Angeles Wednesday, Oct. 10 with multi-platinum superstar duo and Tree Vibez Music founders Florida Georgia Line, joined by Corey Crowder, Ernest K., HARDY, RaeLynn and Canaan Smith. During the trip, the songwriters met with students from Harmony Project for conversations about songwriting, followed by a sold-out CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at The Novo.

GRAMMY® Award-nominated, platinum-certified country hit maker Cassadee Pope debuts her latest single today, “One More Red Light,” co-written by Pope, Kelly Archer and Emily Shackleton. The infectious up-tempo track, which sees Pope in rare vocal form, marks the second song from Cassadee's forthcoming release.  Its first single, “Take You Home,” amassed more than 8 million streams.
