ACM Male Vocalist nominee CHRIS YOUNG took the stage at Nashville's Tin Roof Broadway for a special live performance of his ten No. 1 singles as he joined his music industry friends, including country icon Randy Travis, and family last night in celebrating the chart-topping success of “Losing Sleep.” Renamed “Ten” Roof just for the momentous occasion, the RCA Records Nashville artist performed each of his ten chart-toppers to cap off the party honoring Young (BMI), “Losing Sleep” co-writers Chris DeStefano (ASCAP) and Josh Hoge (SESAC) and co-producer Corey Crowder. Sony Music Nashville EVP/COO, Ken Robold also surprised the singer with a Double Platinum plaque for his multi-week No. 1, “I'm Comin' Over.”
CMT Celebrates International Women's Day With First Ever All Female Takeover Thursday 3/8

CMT today announced it will honor women everywhere to celebrate International Women's Day with its first-ever all female music takeover on Thursday, March 8th. CMT and CMT Music will feature music videos from some of the most beloved voices in the genre, spanning decades and vocal styles to include Kelsea Ballerini, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Maren Morris, Dolly Parton, Reba, Shania, Carrie Underwood and more. In addition, the day will showcase CMT's “Next Women of Country” roster, a campaign that spotlights emerging female voices and helps grow their fan-base on-air, socially and through an all-female tour. The unprecedented full day of female-fueled video hours kicks off at 4 a.m. ET on CMT, and 6 a.m. ET on CMT Music.

Grammy-nominated vocalist Chris Young was officially welcomed and inducted into the Grand Ole Opry family this evening by his friend, Opry member Brad Paisley. Backstage before taking the stage, Young recounted how he had begun listening to the Opry at around age four and first saw the show live at around age eight.
