In a new report, it has been announced that actress Carla Gugino is circling a new project from director, partner, and frequent collaborator Sebastian Gutierrez. The upcoming film, titled Night Electricity, is an indie, psychological drama with 'thriller elements' and will be directed by Gutierrez, who also penned the script. Gugino would be one of four female leads in the film, which will be will be produced by David Lancaster.

THE GIRLS ON THE BUS invites viewers to hit the campaign trail alongside four female journalists, each of them different in their reporting styles and personalities. Signature Theatre has announced the one-week extension of its world premiere of MacArthur Fellow Sarah Ruhl’s Letters from Max, a ritual, directed by Kate Whoriskey, based on the book by Sarah Ruhl and Max Ritvo.

New York Stage and Film begins its summer season in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, July 9 and will run for five weeks to Sunday, August 7 for in-person programming that will support more than 35 new stories for theater, film and television.
