Running now through January 1, 2023, the book is written by Colin Escott and it is directed by Hunter Foster, who starred in the original production of “Million Dollar Quartet” on Broadway. This new Christmas version is inspired by the imagined story of four music icons who gather for an all-night jam session. 

Audiences are invited to relive one of the most magical nights in rock and roll history — but this time with a decidedly festive twist — when Bucks County Playhouse presents a special holiday version of the musical “Million Dollar Quartet Christmas.”

Last night’s opening performance of JERSEY BOYS played to a packed house. Audience members sang along and danced in their seats, ultimately giving this cast a standing ovation. Not a bad way to wrap up the very first season for Capital Repertory Theatre (aka theREP) in their new home!

In 1956 Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins spent one evening jamming together at Sun Studios. The group was referred to as the 'Million Dollar Quartet' and the recording became famous. Years later a musical was made to commemorate that famous night and the show is on stage now at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre.
