In December 2023, the OC welcomed back two powerhouse vocalists who each gave their own respective holiday-themed concerts: Broadway fave Megan Hilty at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa; and recording artist Linda Eder at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. To no one's surprise, both entertained and awed with their spectacular talents.

Megan Hilty’s stint with The Tabernacle Choir last year O Holy Night, narrated by everybody’s favorite baddie Neal McDonough, will air on PBS December 13, 2022 and BYUtv on December 18, 2022. This, the latest edition of PBS’ #1 primetime holiday program for seventeen years, “Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir,” features an Irish-themed program of holiday and classical music. I had the opportunity to participate in the live portion of the Zoom preview presentation with Megan, Neal, Ron Gunnell, (Global Convoy of the Tabernacle Choir), and The Tabernacle Choir’s musical director Mack Wilberg via Zoom from Salt Lake.

Following the sold-out success of its inaugural presentation of Broadway in the Woods with Jeremy Jordan, Art Farm at Serenbe will soon present Megan Hilty in an intimate cabaret setting accompanied by her musical director Matt Cusson.

The final event of The Soraya’s 10th Anniversary Celebration - Broadway Celebrates The Soraya - features Broadway stars Eden Espinosa, Joshua Henry and Megan Hilty, backed by Richard Kaufman and the CSUN Symphony April 30, 2022.  Megan was most gracious in finding time to answer a few of my queries.

'Still Standing' is a video  celebrating the amazing professional artists, on and off stage, who are anxiously awaiting the day when  the lights of Broadway will once again be lit and audiences around the world can come back to the theatre.

Since 1978, West Bank Cafe has been one of the epicenters of New York City’s theatre community, and due to the pandemic, it is on the verge of permanently closing. With Broadway dark, tourism down, indoor dining closed, and no relief plan in sight, 2020 has created a plethora of financial problems for the beloved theater district institution. 

Tony-nominee Megan Hilty joins Project Angel Food for two events Thanksgiving week. First, she is headlining the organization’s Night of Gratitude & Song on Sunday, November 22; then she is delivering meals on Thanksgiving to those in need day with her daughter Viola.
