Baltimore Center Stage has announced that Maryland's First Lady, Dawn Moore, will join JRM Consultancy's Robyn Murphy to co-chair the 2023 Baltimore Center Stage Gala, which takes place on June 3 starting at 7PM.

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place in person in New York City for the first time since 2019 at Theatre Row on Monday, July 25th. Tickets for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2022 performance will be offered exclusively through a lottery system.

CHAIN THEATRE will present the world premiere production of Sophie McIntosh's (Ipswich) macbitches, directed by Ella Jane New (Six Corners). macbitches will play a limited engagement at Chain Theatre. Performances begin Friday, August 19 and continue through Saturday, September 10. Opening Night is Sunday, August 21 (3 p.m.). 

Netflix has released a first clip from Senior Year, a new film starring Rebel Wilson. The feature is set to be released globally on Netflix on May 13th. The Chain Theatre has announced their latest expansion at 312 W. 36th Street, now home to theaters and studios on both the 3rd and 4th floor of the building.

Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that the 11th annual application for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals are now open and will run through April 18, 2022. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place in person in NYC for the first time since 2019.
