Back by popular demand, Ammunition Theatre Company is proud to be reviving its wildly successful production by playwright D.G. Watson, THE TRAGEDY: A COMEDY. Acclaimed director Ahmed Best will be at the helm. The unique comic play once a month at THE PICO - 10508 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064. The show will play monthly (one Thursday of each month). Perhaps the Ammunition Theatre Company has a built-in audience of millennials who enjoy their brand of silly and senseless humor in THE TRAGEDY: A COMEDY written by D.G. Watson and directed by Ahmed Best. Currently promoted as being 'back by popular demand,' all I can figure out is since marijuana is now legal, the younger audience members went out and got the best varieties and smoked a lot of it before seeing this show, then really enjoyed laughing at all the silly situations and dialogue, performed to the best of their ability by actors who enjoyed engaging the audience to play along with them.

Grant Lindahl is a world renowned visual artist banned from MoMA PS1 for being too extreme. Every month he hosts an interactive comedy show at the Creek and the Cave in LIC Queens. Grant opens each show with an eccentric performance piece. Past stunts include getting tattooed live on stage, having a knife thrown at him and playing a giant paint by numbers with the audience!

Continuing its commitment to bring new plays to Los Angeles, IAMA THEATRE COMPANY presents a workshop production of Jonathan Caren's new play THE HOUSE THAT JAKE BUILT, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (who most recently served as assistant director onBroadway's Dear Evan Hansen). A work in progress by the writer of the Ovation Award-winning hit, The Recommendation (with IAMA Theatre Company), Mr. Caren's new play is about a young liberal couple that hires a Latino immigrant to help improve their property and what follows after will not only test the couples' morality, but also the very foundation on which their relationship is built.
