Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode will star in the film adaptation of Mark St. Germain's Freud’s Last Session. Sony has pre-bought the rights to the upcoming film, which is slated to be directed by Matt Brown. The play features a conversation between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis, as they discuss questions of faith, love, sex and existence itself.

What did our critic think of DRACULA at PTC-CHARTS? It was amazing!

Dracula, a novel written by Bram Stoker and published in 1897, became Stoker’s most definitive work. Told in an epistolary style through letters, journal entries, and newspaper articles, Stoker’s novel is never told through the eyes of a single protagonist. Our tale begins with a businessman by the name of Jonathan Harker traveling to the Transylvanian Castle of one Count Dracula, in order to procure a deed. Having merely escaped the castle with his life, after finding out the Count is a Vampire, Harker makes his way home to England, where the Count has now taken up residence with plans to plague the small seaside town of Whitby.

Prometheus Theatre of the Air, an award-winning radio theater troupe operating out of Eastern Connecticut, will bring Halloween to life on Saturday, Oct. 29 with a performance of Tales of Terror, radio dramatizations of three classic horror stories, live before an audience at the Windham Theatre Guild and simulcast over WILI.

What did our critic think of DRACULA at Synetic Theatre? Synetic Theatre's signature style of silent, motion filled acting lends itself well to this adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel of the same name. Dracula is the tale of a wounded warrior granted eternal life as a vampire during the Turkish Invasion. Four hundred years later, upon the arrival of John, an English solicitor to Dracula's secluded Transylvanian lair, the adventure begins. True to its name this show is spooky and sensual with a tinge of a rock n' roll.

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will treat its guests with five shows this Halloween season, including theater, ballet and opera performances.

Kicking off the Fall season, Roxey Ballet stages its dance adaptation of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' on October 21- October 30. 

The Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) and Odyssey Opera, two of today's leading innovators on the classical musical scene, present the East Coast premiere of John Corigliano and Mark Adamo's new opera The Lord of Cries. 

Jobsite Theater, resident theater company at the Straz Center in downtown Tampa and recipient of the 2022 Best of the Bay Award for Best Professional Theater Company, will continue their 24th season with Steven Dietz’s adaptation of Bram Stoker’s DRACULA. The show runs Oct. 21 - Nov. 23 in the Straz Center’s Jaeb Theater. Specially-priced preview performances will be held Oct 19-20.

Little Theatre of Virginia Beach opened its 75th Anniversary season with the Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston play adaptation of Bram Stoker‘s novel, Dracula. The play sold out all performances. See photos here!
