Main Street Theater (MST)’s 47th Season will include six productions on its MainStage and seven at its Theater for Youth for 2022-2023.

This world-renowned children's book star is coming to life on stage. Magik Theatre proudly presents a never-before-seen production to premiere in the Alamo City –Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder from May 6 to June 12, 2022 at Magik Theatre in Hemisfair, 420 S. Alamo. The production will be adapted for the stage by Allison Gregory, based on the hit book series written by Barbara Park and illustrated by Denise Brunkus.

 Theater Works has announced a new lineup full of family favorites, a holiday mainstay hit and glorious musicals.  Theater Works’ Mainstage series features musicals, drama and a return to large scale productions sure to stir imagination and maybe even some singing-a-long.

Raleigh Little Theatre will present Allison Gregory’s “Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook,” based on the popular “Junie B. Jones” book series by Barbara Park. “Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook” runs March 18-27 in RLT’s Cantey V. Sutton Theatre, with Kathleen Rudolph directing. At RLT, Rudolph most recently directed “Snow White” in the Stephenson Amphitheatre as part of the 2020-21 season.

Magik Theatre has announced the 2021-2022 season, featuring six inspiring and courageous productions: Maddi’s Fridge, Snow White, Ella Enchanted: The Musical, The Snowy Day & Other Stories by Ezra Jack Keats, as well as the world premiere productions of Selena Maria Sings and Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder at its downtown theatre at Hemisfair. 

Summer is here and Gulfshore Playhouse Education's STAR Academy is bringing to life a fun and entertaining student musical perfect for the entire family. “Junie B. Jones Jr. – The Musical,” based on the Broadway adaptation of author Barbara Park's best-selling book series about the fun-loving Junie B. Jones, tells the tale of the adventurous character as she begins first grade.

Main Street Theater is back! The Theater for Youth will open first with Junie B.'s Essential Survival Guide to School this summer at MECA at TBH.

Live theatre is back as Virginia Children's Theatre prepares the upcoming 1960's inspired production of JUNIE B. JONES: TOP SECRET PERSONAL BEESWAX. Adjusting to the ever changing climate of the COVID-19 pandemic, this production will be held outdoors at Church of God Campground (8018 Angel Ln) on June 3, 4 and 12, 2021.

Musical Theatre of Anthem has announced their 2020-2021 Lucky 13th Season, bringing to the stage some new performances sure to delight patrons of all ages.  MTA will produce 8 shows offering tremendous opportunities for performers of all ages, including casting all youth who audition in productions for performers ages 6-19, as well as opportunities for adult performers.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) family theatre, The Fun Company, is proud to bring back Junie B. Jones in Jingle Bells Batman Smells. Based on the children's books by Barbara Park, this play follows the feisty and irrepressible Junie B. Jones as she plays Secret Santa to her least favorite classmate, Tattletale May. Will Junie B. give Tattletale May exactly what she thinks she deserves, or will the holiday spirit force a change of heart? With plenty of laughs and life lessons, this story is the perfect holiday treat for the whole family.

Junie B. Jones and her menagerie of friends will celebrate childhood with its funny and dramatic adventures when a?oeJunie B. Jones The Musicala?? takes audiences to 1st grade for six public performances Oct. 14, 18,21,25,28 and Nov. 1 @ 7:00pm.

Florida Repertory Theatre's Education Department is pleased to announce public performances of its 2019-2020 Theatre for Young Audiences productions, a?oeJunie B. Jones the Musicala?? and a?oeThe Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.a?? Held in the Historic Arcade Theatre, the performances kick off the Florida Rep's Touring Theatre program with a day of family-friendly theatre with performances on September 28 at 1 PM, and 6 PM and the tickets are only $10 for students and $15 for adults.

Next up on the Second Stage, The Players Club of Swarthmore's Children's Series presents, Junie B. Jones The Musical. A delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, Junie B. Jones The Musical, is brought to life in a genuinely comical (and not strictly-for kids) musical. With lyrics by Marcy Heisler and music by Zinia Goldrich, Junie B. Jones The Musical is delightfully entertaining. Meg Cranney is both the director and choreographer and Alyssa Cherewaty is the music director.      

Continuing its leadership as the first to introduce performances specially designed for individuals with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders in Broward County, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts is announcing four public sensory-friendly performances of family theater and music this fall.
