Stages Theatre Company Announces Show Lineup for 2010-11 Season

Today Stages Theatre Company (STC) announced the 2010-11 season for children and young adults, with the selected titles celebrating families and friendships. The new season begins Sept. 24 with the classic Newbery Honors winner, 'Charlotte's Web,' by E.B. White, and concludes Aug. 7 with the family-favorite 'Annie.'

TCMT Opens Its 2009/10 Season On 11/7 With JUNIE B. JONES AND A LITTLE MONKEY BUSINESS

Tacoma Musical Playhouse is proud to produce the Tacoma Children's Musical Theater (TCMT) … offering musical theater versions of classic children's literature for family audiences. These colorful and lively productions bring to the stage some of our most adored literary characters, performed by many of your favorite TMP mainstage actors. Recent productions of Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Bunnicula, Heidi and others have created the perfect incentive to plan a "family date" and enjoy a trip to the theater. The TCMT 2009-2010 season opens this fall with the extraordinarily popular Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business! The ever-precocious kindergartener, "Junie B." has become one of the most recognizable characters from books today.

PlayhouseSquare Announces 2009-2010 Children's Theater Series

Beloved children's books coming to life on stage and a vibrant, diverse musical performance of original songs for the whole family make up the 2009-10 Children's Theater Series, presented by the Community Engagement & Education Department at PlayhouseSquare. Formerly known as the Discovery Theater Series, the Children's Theater Series provides an affordable, entertaining way for parents and grandparents to introduce children to quality live theater and the arts.

South Coast Repertory will open its 2009-2010 season with a celebration of the music of Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim and will shine the spotlight later in the season on the up-and-coming musical theater composer and lyricist, Adam Gwon. The season lineup includes World Premieres by Bathsheba Doran, Julie Marie Myatt and Howard Korder, and a West Coast Premiere by Noah Haidle.

Village Theatre Kidstage Announces Its Spring Line-up, Classes Begin Mid-April

Village Theatre Kidstage is proud to announce its spring line-up of exploratory and musical theatre classes, along with Spring Break camps for students of all ages. Some of these classes include ?Story Explorers? for children as young as Pre-K, a wide variety of dance classes?including yoga ballet and tap?and a ?Broadway Foundations? class that focuses its work around the music in the hit new musical Wicked. The majority of these classes begin in mid-April. Classes range from $145-$250 and parents can receive a 10 percent discount when registering more than one student from the same family or when registering for more than one class. One discount per family. Each registered student will also receive one half-price single ticket to any Village Theatre Mainstage production. Perfect for age's four to fourteen, the Paper Mill Playhouse Children's Theatre Series has partnered with the best and brightest theatre companies to bring charming, whimsical, and educational performances filled with audience participation and adventure. All shows take place on select Saturdays and Sundays in the spring and begin at 10:00am.

Papermill Playhouse Announces New Children's Theatre Series

Perfect for age's four to fourteen, the Paper Mill Playhouse Children's Theatre Series has partnered with the best and brightest theatre companies to bring charming, whimsical, and educational performances filled with audience participation and adventure. All shows take place on select Saturdays and Sundays in the fall and spring and begin at 10:00am. Tickets are $15 for orchestra and box seats and $12 for mezzanine seats. A facility preservation fee applies. Single tickets range in price from $12 to $15. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express accepted.
