Joe DiPietro's new play, Conscience will be performed at George Street Playhouse (GSP) in the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) from March 3 to March 29.

Some of the most beloved songs of the musical theatre canon come from Bernstein's score, which includes 'Tonight,' 'America,' 'Maria,' and of course, Tony's big Act I moment, 'Something's Coming.' Today, we celebrate the show's return with that very tune, featuring original Tonys Larry Kert (original Broadway cast) and Richard Beymer (1961 film), Broadway leading men Matt Cavenaugh (2009 revival), Jeremy Jordan (2009 revival), Cheyenne Jackson, Gavin Creel, Colton Ryan, Santino Fontana, and Darren Criss, and even Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey and Judy Garland.

Javier Muñoz will star in the North American Premiere of Stephen Lloyd Helper's A Sign of the Times at Theater 511 (511 West 54th Street) beginning performances on February 17 in advance of its opening night on February 27 through April 4, 2020. Showtunes Theatre Company produced its first musical in concert on January 22, 2000 at Town Hall in Seattle. That first show was Anyone Can Whistle, a Stephen Sondheim/Arthur Laurents cult favorite that showcased 30+ local performers and musicians and enjoyed a sold-out-one-night-only performance. Now, 20 years and one month to the day, Showtunes has produced 40 musicals in concert, multiple cabarets and special events produced in and around Seattle since January of 2000 on the very stage it all began - Town Hall Seattle.

The world premiere of 'Midwives' is now being performed by George Street Playhouse. This engrossing drama is based on the 1998 novel by Chris Bohjalian who wrote GSP's stage adaptation. The directorial talents of the Playhouse's Artistic Director, David Saint and the show's accomplished cast make this play unforgettable.

Chris Bohjahlian's first bestseller MIDWIVES was selected by Oprah Winfrey as one of the earliest entries to her book club upon the novel's publication in 1998. So it's a natural fit as this season's book club selection at George Street Playhouse.

TheatreZone, a Naples-based professional Equity theatre celebrating its 15th season of Broadway musicals, will present Gypsy, March 5-15 2020. Performances are scheduled for 7:30p.m. on March 5-8 and 11-15; 2:00 p.m. matinee performances will be presented on March 7-8 and 14-15.
