WEST SIDE STORY to Close Fulton Theatre's 2025-2026 Season
Paula Gaudier, Robbie Beirne, and Adriana Scalice lead the cast at Lancaster's Fulton Theatre.
The Fulton Theatre has announced the final production of its 2025-2026 Season with the iconic musical West Side Story, running from June 12 through July 12, 2026, with preview performances on June 10 (Community Night) and June 11 (Pay-What-You-Want).
This classic, urgent, and undeniably powerful musical is based on a conception by Jerome Robbins, with a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The story transports Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to 1950s New York City, where young lovers are tragically caught between two warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.
The production features Paula Gaudier (Off-Broadway: 3Penny Opera, The Beautiful Lady) as Maria, Robbie Beirne as Tony, Adriana Scalice (National Tour: Six, Mean Girls) as Anita, Manuel Santos (Broadway: West Side Story, On The Town, Gigi, Aladdin, Nat'l Tour: Hamilton) as Bernardo, and Ethan Van Slyke (Broadway: Mamma Mia, Nat'l Tour: Outsiders) as Riff.
Providing the show's adult perspectives are Bruce Winant (Broadway: Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Ragtime & Fulton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, A Christmas Carol) as Doc, Steve Haggard (Broadway: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Lieutenant Schrank and Joe Capstick (Fulton: South Pacific) as Officer Krupke/Glad Hand.
The full company includes: Bryan Fortunato as Chino, Mallorie Mendoza as Rosalia, Alexia Acebo as Consuelo (u/s Anita), Tash Marconi as Francisca, Lauren Soto as Teresita (u/s Maria), Grace Brad “GB” as Anybodys, Reaghan Snow as Graziella, Chloe Rae Kehm as Velma, Maddie Parrish as Minnie (u/s Anybodys), Kevin Bowman as A-rab, Nicholas Ammon as Snowboy, Cade Jetté as Action, Andy Richardson as Baby John, Jonathan Bryant as Big Deal (Dance Captain). Teen Ensemble: Sophia Amaya, Isaac Baloche, Trenton Breneman Leah Brighter, Bella Cesarini, Cole Gable, Ava Rosalía Graff, Adam Makké, Jahree, Arabelle Petersheim, and Lyla Sophy.
The West Side Story creative and production team is led by Director Stephen Schellhardt, Choreographer Erin N. Moore, Music Director Tom Vendafreddo, and Fight Director Preston Cuer. The design team features Paul Black (Scenic & Lighting Designer), Cody Von Ruden (Costume Designer), Anthony M Lascoskie, Jr. (Costume Coordinator), Josh Allamon (Sound Designer), Meg Valentine (Props Designer), Michael Roman (Wig Designer), Luis Garcia (Video Designer), and Colin Riebel (Video Coordinator). Ben McNaboe serves as the Fulton's Music Supervisor, and Marc Robin is the Executive Artistic Producer.
The stage management team includes Production Stage Manager Douglas Lamb and Assistant Stage Managers Jessica Greenhoe and Michael DiSciullo. Casting Direction is by Bob Cline and Fulton Casting Associate Joey Abramowicz.
“West Side Story” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
