This classic, urgent, and undeniably powerful musical is based on a conception by Jerome Robbins, with a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The story transports Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to 1950s New York City, where young lovers are tragically caught between two warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.
The production features Paula Gaudier as Maria, Robbie Beirne as Tony, Adriana Scalice as Anita, Manuel Santos as Bernardo, and Ethan Van Slyke as Riff.
