LITERATURE LIVE! Returns to Bay Street With Virtual Production of MOBY DICK

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the return of Literature Live! with an online theatrical production of Herman Melville’s American classic Moby Dick. This virtual production is adapted by Bay Street Theater Director of Education & Community Outreach, Allen O’Reilly.

Bay Street Theater to Present THE TEEMING AUTUMN Outdoor Benefit

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced The Teeming Autumn, an outdoor performance and benefit dinner showcasing some of the most famous and beloved scenes, sonnets, and soliloquies of William Shakespeare, on Saturday, October 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. on the grounds of Christ Episcopal Church in Sag Harbor.

Fall Schedule Of Classes and Workshops Announced at Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced its fall schedule of classes and workshops are now open for registration. Classes will be held online via Zoom or in-person in outdoor and social-distanced settings, and vary from on-camera acting workshops, to musical theater reading clubs, to performances of Shakespeare. Bay Street Theater Announces Live Outdoor Workshops For Teens And Adults

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce two outdoor workshops held live and in-person on the grounds of the Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum in Sag Harbor. All attendees will have their temperature checked upon arrival, must wear masks, and must remain socially distanced from other attendees.

Scott Schwartz To Host Musical Theater Audition Workshop

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that its Artistic Director, Scott Schwartz, will lead a one-on-one Musical Theater Audition Workshop on Monday, August 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. outdoors and socially distanced on the grounds of the Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum in Sag Harbor. Tap Camp Online With Anita Boyer Begins June 9

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the start of Tap Camp Online, a virtual tap dancing camp that will be held as part of Bay Street's new online programming platform Bay Street To-Go. Sessions are open to teens ages 13 and up, and will be held via Zoom on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. starting June 9. The fee is $100 for eight sessions. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the online acting workshop Monologue!, an intensive rehearsal of contemporary or classic monologues, will be held as part of Bay Street's new online programming platform Bay Street To-Go. Sessions are open to adults and kids ages 13 and up, and will be available Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting June 9. Individuals may meet for hour-and-a-half segments for a fee of $75 per session, online via Zoom. WEDNESDAYS WITH WADE From Bay Street Theatre Begins Online April 29

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is announcing that our new Wednesdays With Wade online interactive creative writing workshop, led by Wade Dooley, previously scheduled to begin April 22, will now begin Wednesday, April 29, as part of Bay Street's new online programming platform Bay Street To-Go. Classes will be held for eight weeks and will meet on Wednesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. via Zoom! Registration is $100 for eight sessions and is open to adults ages 18 and up. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the live online series Bay Street To-Go and our all new Online Children's Theater Camp with Bay Street's Director of Eduation, Allen O'Reilly. Bay Street Theater to Host On-Screen Acting Classes In March

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced that On Camera Acting with Meghan Rafferty workshops for both adults and teens are now open for registration. Workshops will be held on Sunday, March 29, at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. The adult class will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the teen program, open to kids ages 12 to 17, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Each class is offered for a fee of $175; information on registration can be found at baystreet.org/education, or by contacting Director of Education Allen O'Reilly at allen@baystreet.org or by calling 631 725 0818.

Panel Discussion Announced At Bay Street Theater, November 23

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce in connection with its production of A Raisin in the Sun, by Lorraine Hansberry, a free Panel Discussion titled RACE: Then and Now, There and Here. This hour-long special panel discussion will take place at Bay Street Theater on Saturday, November 23 at 11 am at the theater.  From there, audience members may continue the conversation with the panelists and a few cast members at Page (at own cost).  The matinee that day begins at 2pm.
