Whitney Lehn Meltz BIO

Whitney is a scenic designer and artist of oddities from Decatur, Illinois. They received their B.F.A in Theatre Design & Technology from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2019, and they are currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Scenic Design from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

While scenic design is their main focus, Whitney also loves the unique challenges and hands-on nature of properties and crafts work. Telling a story with a single object can be difficult, and often leads to insights that help them to improve their design work on a larger scale. ​
