Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has released pre-production photos for the world premiere of Exclusion, a wickedly funny Hollywood-set comedy. 

Complete casting has been announced for Exclusion at Arena Stage. The cast includes Tony Nam, Karoline Xu, Josh Stamberg,  Michelle Vergara Moore, Karen Li, Jonathan Feuer, and Ryan Dalusung.

Families, sisterly conflicts, alienation from parents, suicidal tendencies, dissociation, nostalgia for childhood mingled with mature reevaluation of it: all these themes and tropes are universal. And audiences of all backgrounds should find this show about them quite relatable, not to mention intriguing.

 From an exciting new voice in American theatre comes this enlightening story about the bonds that unite us, and the journey of experiencing grief. Everyman Theatre presents Jump by Charly Evon Simpson and Directed by Summer L. Williams.

Follow the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters, sensible Elinor and hypersensitive Marianne, as Everyman Theatre continues its live, in-person 2021/2022 season with Jane Austen's, Sense and Sensibility, a play adapted by playwright and actor Kate Hamill. The production at Everyman Theatre is directed by Susanna Gellert and runs from April 5 through May 1, 2022. At-home streaming is also available through May 13.

Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi, announced today that Everyman Theatre actors, designers, and crew are back in the rehearsal room preparing for the run of Molly Smith Metzler's 2017 play, Cry It Out. The full production will be filmed at the theatre and available virtually to stream into homes from March 1 through April 11. Lancisi will also direct the play.

Aubergine, by American playwright and television writer of Korean descent, Julia Cho, is a didactic play, heavy on pathos, but not without humor, that finds its origins in Cho's own life, specifically, the death of her father. Similarly in this play, protagonist Ray, played by Tony Nam, cares for his dying father (Glenn Kubota) at home, with the help of nurse Lucien (Jefferson A. Russell), girlfriend Cornelia (Eunice Bae) and his Uncle (Song Kim).

Everyman's Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi directs this so-production with the Olney Theatre Cednter.

When words fail, a home-cooked meal transcends differences in Aubergine-a heartfelt story of food, family and memory from playwright Julia Cho, receiving its Mid-Atlantic premiere at Everyman Theatre, March 14 through April 15, 2018.
