Sujin Kim-Ramsey BIO

Sujin Kim-Ramsey is an active composer, music director, arranger, and pianist in the New York City area. Kim-Ramsey, along with her collaborator, Daphny Maman, have written several musicals seen around NYC including, A Good Morning for Coffee (Here Center of the Arts, 2013 / Seoul, 2017), The Mystery of the Deadly Singer (Playroom Theatre, 2015), and Congratulations! (NYU, 2015).  Sujin music directed the off Broadway production of KPOP at Ars Nova. She has music directed The Curious Contents of Christie’s Wastebasket at the TADA Theatre (2019) in NYC, Sunday in the Park with George at the Burning Cole Theatre in Raleigh, NC, and also several concerts, readings, and workshops in and around NYC. Kim-Ramsey graduated from Yonsei University in classical composition, Berklee College of Music in jazz composition, and Tisch School of the Arts, Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU.
