Robert C. Ford

Robert C. Ford is a New York City poet, recording artist and spoken-word performer known as the Wall Street Poet. His work often explores the contradictions of modern urban life through satire, narrative precision, and dramatic delivery.

Ford frequently collaborates with composer-guitarist Gene Pritsker and has worked with internationally accomplished musicians including Carli Muñoz, former keyboardist for the Beach Boys. His albums The Music Between Us and Footprints of Steel combine spoken word and music.

In September 2022, Ford appeared at The Village Trip Festival in Songs and Poems from the Village, a program featuring Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega. Recent appearances include TRUCE: Nocturne, a salon concert with Muñoz in New York. In July 2026, he will perform Concerto in Groove with Pritsker and the Lviv Virtuosos at the Lviv National Philharmonic in Ukraine.

Ford has also performed at prominent New York venues including Birdland and Joe’s Pub, as well as in galleries, concert halls, and interdisciplinary performance spaces throughout North America and Europe.

His screen work includes acting in and contributing poetry to short films, with several credits listed on IMDb.
