Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre Revives Monthly Cabaret Series
Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre is reviving its monthly cabaret series, with the first performance on Friday January 27th 2023 at the Bridgetown Black Box. The January cabaret will feature Bridgetown students - teens and adults - sharing the cabaret spotlight, with solo performances.
Miss Oregon 2022, Sophia Takla, Joins BRIDGETOWN JR. Musical Theatre Training
Sophia Takla, recently crowned Miss Oregon 2022, will be co-instructing the triple-threat training class for 7-to-11-year olds at Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre this fall. Bridgetown Jr. prepares the young musical theatre-hopeful with dance, acting and vocal performance in a 2-hour weekly class. Sophia will be joining Max Powell, a local Portland actor/singer, in the instruction of the young performers.

What did our critic think of 9 TO 5 at FMCT? 9 to 5 is a 2008 stage adaptation of the classic 1980 comedy movie starring Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, Lilly Tomlin and Dabney Coleman. The musical features music & lyrics by Dolly Parton. Dolly also wrote the title song for the 1980 movie.
Bridgetown Conservatory Moves To Downtown Portland
Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre is relocating to The Tiffany Center in downtown Portland for its triple-threat training to middle school and high school students. The Fall 2022 term will be the first term in the conservatory's new 3500sf space. The new Bridgetown Conservatory space, within the Tiffany Center, is located at 711 SW 14th Avenue in downtown Portland.

Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre has announced the cast of its May 2022 in-person live production of The Theory of Relativity, by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill. The production will take place May 19 through May 22, 2022 in Bridgetown's new Black Box Theatre. After postponing the production in 2020, and again in 2021, Bridgetown has high hopes for a successful third try.
