The Secret Theatre presents A Christmas Carol this month, directed and produced by Richard Mazda.

The Secret Academy presents Honk Jr by Anthony Drew & George Stiles, directed by Libby Perler, and produced by Richard Mazda. Performances are  Nov 30 then Dec 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 10.

The Secret Academy will present the iconic Heathers The Musical [Teen Edition] for a run of 10 performances. Many of the amazing cast members from The Secret's successful production of High School Musical cast from the Secret Academy are returning and are joined by other talented young performers from the Professional Performing Arts High School. Adult actors have been cast in the roles of the Principal, Teachers, & Dads.

The Secret Theatre and Richard Mazda have announced the founding of the Queens Short Play Festival which launches Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at The Secret Theatre 38-02 61 St, Woodside, NY  11377. 

The Secret Theatre is hosting 9 weeks of amazing Summer Camps at our Skillman and Woodside locations. Each week an experienced Theatre Camp professional will take the kids from Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm through the process of learning a show which usually includes a couple of songs.

The Secret Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol features a brand-new adaptation by their Artistic Director, Richard Mazda, who will also perform Scrooge. The cast includes Christopher Romero-Wilson * as Dickens/Fezziwig, Joe Staton as Fred, Mia Jacquez as Christmas Present, Rosie Dean as Mrs Cratchit, Evan Ayer as Bob Cratchit, also featuring Zoe Nadal, Reina Celis, Hudson Malendes, Penelope Pompouros, Clara Burke, Alex & Ruby Janger, William Cho, Baz Duarte, & Annika Low. A Christmas Carol will open at The Secret Theatre beginning December 15. The Secret Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol features a brand-new adaptation by their Artistic Director, Richard Mazda, who will also perform Scrooge.

Oliver! The Musical is currently playing at the new home of The Secret Theatre to delighted crowds. This is perhaps the most ambitious Secret Theatre Academy production to date with a large cast of 24, smoking chimneys and a multi level set. See photos from the production.

Agatha Christie’s murder mystery novel, And Then There Were None, published in 1939 and adapted for the stage by Ms. Christie in 1943 is being staged at the Players Theatre in The West Village. The production is part of Be Bold! Productions’ Murder on MacDougal series which produced Murder on the Links in 2021 and Murder on the Nile in 2019.
