Birdland presented singer/actress Linda Purl on the historic stage on Monday, April 1, with Big Band Romance. Ms. Purl was accompanied by the DIVA Jazz Orchestra and musical director Tedd Firth, with special guest singer Nicolas King.

Linda Purl brings her newest set list of songs to the Birdland Theater in her show 'The Could Be The Start...'. A blend of classic songs, old and new, with an eye towards fresh beginnings in a reinvigorated time. Backed by the musical trio of Tedd Firth (piano), David Finck (bass), and Ray Marchica (drums).

Dancers Over 40's celebration of Tommy Tune and DO40 author Kevin Winkler’s book, Everything is Choreography: The Musical Theater of Tommy Tune! Sold out! Over 120 in attendance at the Actors’ Temple Theatre in NYC. Two panels, three performances, videos, and a premiere video from ADM21 rounded out the evening.

The magnificent Nancy McGraw returns to the cabaret stage and, with Mark Nadler, presents a picture perfect night of cabaret.

Nancy McGraw brought her Johnny Mercer show, In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening to the Laurie Beechman Theatre last night with Director/Music Director Mark Nadler. Ms McGraw presented Mercer's lyrics through the lens of their shared Southern heritage, based on a Mercer quote: 'If you want to ask what makes me tick, I would say that it is that I am from Savannah.'

Nancy McGraw returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Friday, October 18 at 7 pm and a brunch show on Sunday, October 20 at 1 pm. In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening features the lyrics of the enduring and prolific Johnny Mercer.

If you were in The Cutting Room for the Stephen Schwartz Concert for the Benefit of the Orphaned Starfish Foundation it is a night you will probably cherish forever. For three decades, the unofficial launch of 'autumn in New York' has been marked by the annual Cabaret Convention of The Mabel Mercer Foundation. This year, their four individual concerts will once again be presented at 6 p.m. at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, beginning Today, October 9thand running through Friday, October 12th. More than seventy diverse vocalists -- ranging in age from seventeen to ninety -- are scheduled to entertain; thirteen of these will make their New York Cabaret Convention debuts during the 2018 performances.

On Monday, July 27, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present the return of pianist/singer Steve Ross in "Steve Ross on Broadway." Steve's very special guest star was Tony winner Liliane Montevecchi. Jesse Bielenberg rounded out the sublime music on bass.
